Some activities you can participate in: Hiking, walking, fishing (both fresh and salt water), wildlife viewing, skiing at Mt. Cain, golfing, hunting, swimming and tubing on the Salmon River, exploring the town and valley. You can take your ATV right from your door to explore the myriad of logging roads and trails in the area.
The Sayward Valley is home to many artists and artisans. Their works can be seen at the Port of Kelsey Bay or at the Saturday Market at the Heritage Hall
